Who We Help - Shannon Neece
Shannon Neece has been diagnosed with a terminal disease which is slowly fusing her body tissues together. Her husband (who quit his job in rock radio for over 30 years to be her full-time caregiver) and family are faced to deal with not only this illness but with the stress of trying to find the resources to pay for the extremely expensive treatment necessary to slow down the progression of this disease.
The Sweet Stuff Foundation is honored to help Shannon and her family lessen the stress and provide some relief during this time in their lives.
Shannon is a lover of music and acknowledges that "music heals and music matters," and when she can find an opportunity to listen to live music in her hometown of Fargo or watch a concert on TV, she will do whatever she can to attend or watch. When she is in pain, music is her distraction, her escape.
