Who We Help - Brian O'Connor
In 2010, Brian O'Connor, bassist from Eagles of Death Metal, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and like many musicians, had no medical insurance. He soon found himself in debt, having difficulty paying the incoming bills and worrying about how to put food on the table.
The Sweet Stuff Foundation found a way to provide ongoing help to Brian O'Connor and his family by donating to the Brian O'Connor Fund. These funds not only help to pay for medical treatment, but also to provide additional assistance to Brian's family for day-to-day living expenses and support.
It is our honor that Brian was compelled to send this message to the support community showing his gratitude and perseverance through this most difficult time.
